Why did Florida Orthopaedic Institute redesign its website?

Levanduski: FOI redesigned its website to improve patient satisfaction, streamline internal processes, and strengthen our professional image. 

By improving functionality and user experience, FOI aims to provide more accurate and accessible information to our patients and referring physicians. This redesign aligns with FOI’s commitment to delivering exceptional care and maintaining a positive reputation within the medical community.

There are a lot of branding and web agencies to choose from. Why did you choose TBH Creative as your partner?

Davis: After extensive research, we chose TBH Creative because of their specific sector experience in the orthopedic space. Our sector of healthcare is unique, and this gave us confidence that they would be able to deliver exactly what we were looking for.

How did TBH Creative guide and help the project to stay on track?

Davis: The TBH team is extremely well organized and managing the timeline / deliverables was a key piece of our weekly communication.

You hired two other experienced branding firms before working with TBH Creative and the solutions didn’t work out. What would you like to tell others about how this finally came together to meet your vision?

Davis: We were thrilled to have a more successful outcome. Partnering with someone who understood and had specific experience in our sub-sector of healthcare was key.

What new website features will patients appreciate the most?

Levanduski: We approached the redesign of the website with a desire to lessen and remove barriers to access of orthopedic care. The new site design showcases all of our physicians with detailed bios and up to date information about their training and experience. The new website has an improved mobile friendly user experience, improved search functions so that you can research physicians and find the exact fit for your needs as a patient, expanded search area for finding the most convenient location, custom forms such as a “request a call back” feature, and the website offers information in both English and Spanish languages.

What does the team think about the new site?

Levanduski: We’re most excited that the new website makes scheduling appointments more convenient for patients. The leadership team is happy to have all of our physicians on one platform. 

What’s next?

Levanduski: We are expanding access to the highest-quality care beyond the Tampa Bay area and bringing all our physician groups under one website.

The practice will use this opportunity to continue developing its mission of training the next generation of physicians and providing patients with state-of-the-art treatments and helpful educational resources on the latest trends in orthopedic medicine in engaging formats, such as videos and podcasts.
